This program will present the fundamentals of infection control and provide tips for implementing better infection control practices in the dental office. The program content is based on CDC's 2003 Recommended Infection Control Practices for Dentistry. Information on the safe use of hazardous chemicals is also included. The application of the concepts presented in this program will help ensure a safe clinical environment for patients and dental health care workers and maintain compliance with OSHA and the state dental board.
