Course Description

This 40-hour core course addresses responses to oil spills in estuarine and coastal

environments. It is designed for persons in industry, the regulatory community, and

the emergency response disciplines who may be required to respond to an oil-spill

incident.

This course utilizes classroom discussion, multimedia presentations, and practical

hands-on exercises to provide you with essential information and training needed to

effectively manage a spill-response operation. You will assume leadership roles and

direct simulated response operations under the supervision of the instructors.
